I created the "reverb monster" because "reverb amps" are used in this garage style music the poster was representing.
I moved away from the "monster players" because the "reverb monster" helped fill out the design and was much more impactful but still representative of the music.

The final flyer composited with a more refined sketch and 1950s surf typography.
